Constructionarium

Students

Constructionarium is an opportunity to apply the theoretical learning in a practical setting. In addition it will develop your team working, leadership, communication, time management, interpersonal and project management skills. These employability skills are essential when you entering the world of work.

However, you and your colleagues safety is our biggest priority whilst you are on site and you must observe all safety briefings, warnings and instructions at all times. This includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly whilst you are on site. With the exception of safety shoes or boots, PPE is normally provided by the partnering Contractor. Please ensure your safety shoes/boots conform to BS EN 344-1.

Be prepared to be working outside (in all types of weather), getting your hands dirty and managing several tasks at once.   Our recommendation would be to bring plenty of layering clothes (long sleeves and long trousers) to wear when you are on site which you don’t mind getting dirty and naturally waterproof clothing. Tshirts and shorts are not permitted.

Sun cream and lip balm is essential irrespective of the time of year you attend.
